About Us
Impressive Home Theaters, Inc. was founded in September of 2003 by Dustin LaFond. The company is based out of Bloomington, IL with a showroom and office location at 403 Bronco Dr., Ste 3, Bloomington, IL 61704.
In February of 2007, Dustin LaFond started a sister company called Impressive Home Security, Inc. to service the growing market of monitored security and surveillance systems. Impressive Home Security is managed by Dustin’s business partner Matt Hoder.
Since the beginning, the goal of IHT is to create practical, affordable, easy to use and IMPRESSIVE entertainment systems that have a professional WOW factor. IHT is a service minded company that is dedicated to our client’s complete satisfaction. Being a referral based business, it is imperative that our client’s are thrilled with our service to help generate positive word of mouth.
Over time, IHT has installed over 400 home theater and audio systems, 350 Dish and DirecTV satellite systems and 400 home security systems throughout all of Central Illinois. Our installation expertise is very strong in both new construction and retrofit applications. We work with over twenty local homebuilders and remodelers as a key part of their team. Our clients and builders know that there isn’t another company in Central Illinois that is quite like Impressive Home Theaters. Our extensive experience in home theater, audio, satellite and security combine to make us your one stop shop for all types of electronic systems.

ALL THAT WE DO is install audio / video and security systems. Don’t trust the success of your system to an electrician, heating and air-conditioning company or someone that is also trying to sell you appliances and a mattress. Is that really the best you can do? Do you hire a tile guy to do your painting? No, so don’t do this with your A/V system. This is our primary business, not an after-thought. If you want the true expert on your team, you can count on us as your local specialist that cares about your complete satisfaction. If you are looking for a $299 mattress to go along with your audio system, that is not us.
