Payment
Options - We accept Cash, Checks and all major credit cards (Visa/MasterCard/Discover/American
Express). Customers can either pay in full at the time of order or put a
20% deposit down with the balance due upon delivery and/or installation.
If the customer should change their mind for any reason after the order
is placed, customer will be responsible for any UPS return shipping fees
and restocking fees up to 10% of the price of the product being returned.
In new construction projects, the invoice for the audio/video wiring rough-in will be billed upon completion. We also work as asubcontractor for many local builders, which allows us to invoice your builder and/or bank during new construction projects.
Financing - We offer 90 day, 6 month and 12 month same as cash programs (No Payments / No Interest) for purchases over $500. There is a 3% surcharge based on the amount of purchase for customers using the 12 month financing plan. Financing plan is subject to credit approval by American General Finance.
Sales Tax - Sales tax of 7.75% will be charged to all customers receiving product in the State of Illinois.
Return Policy - We offer a 30 day full customer satisfaction return policy. If customer decides to return product for any reason besides a manufacturer’s defect, customer will be responsible for all applicable UPS return shipping fees and a restocking fee equivalent to 10% of the price of the product being returned. We also offer a 30 day guaranteed replacement policy for defective units at no charge.
*Please note: All television manufacturers require an on-site inspection by an authorized technician before allowing a return on a television.
Warranty - All products are sold with the full original manufacturer’s warranty. Our products are NOT refurbished but are NEW in heir original sealed packaging. Customers should retain the original packaging and sales receipts to aid in the process of a potential warranty claim.
Extended Warranty - Extended warranties are an economical way to extend the life of your original manufacturer’s warranty. We offer extended warranties on nearly all of the products that we sell through a respectable national third party. Our 2-year and 4-year television extended warranties can be purchased at substantial discounts compared to the chain stores. Please contact us for more information and pricing.
All on-site service calls within the first six (6) months from the completion of an install will be free of charge except for customer damage, neglect and acts of god. On-site service calls after six (6) months will be billed at a rate of $75 for the first hour and $60 per hour thereafter for one technician and $120 for the first hour and $95 per hour for on-site service calls that require two (2) technicians.
Dish Network and DirecTV on-site service calls will be billed at a rate of $29 per hour for customers on the Digital Home Advantage service program and $75 per hour for those not on a service plan with Dish Network or DirecTV.
Internet
Ordering - Impressive Home Theaters is NOT an on-line retailer and
does not accept web orders. Our primary business model is to provide custom
sales and installation of home audio/video systems to our customers in the
Central Illinois market.
The majority of our manufacturer’s do not allow us to sell their products
outside of our local market. Customers considering a large electronics purchase
on-line should use extreme caution as most reputable manufacturers will
void the warranty unless the product is acquired from an authorized dealer.
Unfortunately, many on-line retailers will represent themselves as an authorized
dealer when in fact they are not. With this strict on-line policy, manufacturers
are encouraging you to support their local, authorized dealers who have
been trained on their product line and are able to display, demonstrate,
install and support their products.
